HPI's Top 5 DIY Spring Cleaning Jobs

1 - Clean your Central Vacuum Lines.

If you own a central vacuum system you're bound to experience clogs and blockages in your tubing at least once (and most likely more than once). To unclog it, simply turn the switch off on the side of the unit manually. Use a wet-dry vacuum to apply suction to the wall valve where you find a clog. The reverse suction should clear the clog.

2 - Install an upgrade to your existing Broan/Nutone bathroom fan with a 690 upgrade kit. It only takes a screwdriver and takes about 25-30 minutes. The added airflow and reduced noise will keep things running in complete harmony.

3 - Replace an Ironing Center door. Ironing Center doors ALWAYS take a beating. It happens. It's a door. It gets slammed and dinged. Replacing it with a new door can add just a touch more class to your center. Its easy to install and relative cheap.

4 - Clean your Range Hood filter. Simply unhook your filter. Soak it in warm water. Use a soft bristle brush to remove the grease. Case closed.

5 - Replace your old door bell. For easy instructions, follow the steps our friends at Wiki have put together ---> Replace a Doorbell. Take a look at our selection online and add something new and fun at the front door!
